Thank you to my awesome assistants!

I added a second shooter to my wedding packages this year. I like having a second shooter with me on the your special day...so we can keep things running smoothly and also, getting little elements that I can't get...I can't be everywhere so it's nice for me to have that second set of eyes grabbing the details of your day!

Thank you to Kaitland, Bria and Rachel for assisting me this wedding season! You rock!

Questions to Ask Your Photographer

Yes, I'm going to give you a quick little check list for what you need to ask when interviewing photographers. |

Feel free to book a FREE consultation and I'd be happy to answer any of these questions for you! (Coffee is on me!)  Or we can set up a night to chat online! Whatever is easiest for you!

  1. What is your preferred style of photography? (Traditional, Artisitc, Natural Light, Photojournalism, Illustrative)
  2. How many weddings have you shot in your career?
  3. How many weddings will you shoot on my wedding day?
  4. Have you ever shot at my venue?
  5. Do you bring your own lighting? (The answer should be YES! If they don't, expect a detailed answer as to why they work without their own lighting).
  6. Do you work from a shot list? (Ask to see the list)
  7. Can I request  certain images are taken at the wedding?
  8. How many hours are included in your package?
  9. How much does an additional hour of coverage cost?
  10. Do you bring a second shooter?
  11. How many images can I expect to see from my wedding?
  12. Do you have a limit to the amount of images you will edit?
  13. How long does it take to see the proofs from my wedding?
  14. Do I receive a disc of images or do I have to order all prints through you?
  15. How much are prints?
  16. Is an album included?
  17. Will you use my images in any advertising?
  18. Will you request the photography guidelines from the ceremony and reception locations?
  19. What will you and your second shooter wear?
  20. What is your plan if you are ill or there is an emergency and you can't photograph my wedding?
  21. How much is the deposit?
  22. When is the balance due?
  23. What is your cancellation policy?

Sam & Stuart hit a home run!

It was a beautiful day for Sam & Stuart's beautiful fall wedding! I started my day out with the girls, getting ready at a gorgeous log cabin-style home! Sam and Stuart's sweet little girls were a big part of the day!  We then headed to Holstein for the ceremony and reception!

What a wonderful day!

These two stole the show! Sisterly love!

Miss M and Pappy (Greg doesn't look old enough to be a pappy! Happy Birthday Greg!)

Sam & Stuart's first dance - these two are truly in love!

Wishing you many, MANY years together, Love birds!

I love when couples do a theme to their wedding and they do it right!
EVERYTHING in their wedding was tasteful and done EXTREMELY well!

Diamonds ARE a girl's best friend! (Both kinds of diamonds)

LOVED these bouquets created by Elora Street Flowers in Harriston! Well done, Lacey!

Thank you for having us as a part of your special day, Sam & Stuart! You truly belong together! Congratulations!

Yikes! Flashback Friday

So, yes, I know we all start some where...I am grateful for those that helped me grow, that helped me learn, that have grown with my business.

Here are a few from my early sessions!
My first official photo shoot...thank you Miss A for being a great subject
(This sweetheart is now 6 years old, I believe)

All "FORE" Love!

These two tied the knot at Grey Silo Golf Club on July 30th! I have had the privilege of getting to know these two over the last couple years...I initially met with these two back in August of 2014.

These two are in love for so many reasons...high school sweethearts to a happily married couple!

Here are a few favorites from their special day!

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S 2015

I didn't realize I forgot to blog about my last wedding of the year! It was literally on the last day of the year...right down to the last few hours of New Year's Eve!

Christa & Jeff said they were pretty laid back and weren't stressed too much about posey-posey pictures! They wanted the pictures to say "THEM"...well, I hope I captured them, in their home, with their family and friends, just as they are! (Work boots and all, right Jeff!?)

Here are a few of my favorites!

Beautiful unity candle for both sets of parents!

I love to catch this look from the groom!

First kiss (actually, this might have been the first kiss, second try!)

Yummy cake and cupcakes from Foodland (little plug for them!)

Groom & Bride with their whole gang

Ring shots...my favorite ring shot

Yes, those are workboots...relatively clean workboots, I'd say!

Why not end with this one!?

Wishing you all the best Christa & Jeff and thank-you for having me as a party of your special day!
