So, yes, I know we all start some where...I am grateful for those that helped me grow, that helped me learn, that have grown with my business.

Here are a few from my early sessions!

All "FORE" Love!

These two tied the knot at Grey Silo Golf Club on July 30th! I have had the privilege of getting to know these two over the last couple years...I initially met with these two back in August of 2014.

These two are in love for so many reasons...high school sweethearts to a happily married couple!

Here are a few favorites from their special day!

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S 2015

I didn't realize I forgot to blog about my last wedding of the year! It was literally on the last day of the year...right down to the last few hours of New Year's Eve!

Christa & Jeff said they were pretty laid back and weren't stressed too much about posey-posey pictures! They wanted the pictures to say "THEM"...well, I hope I captured them, in their home, with their family and friends, just as they are! (Work boots and all, right Jeff!?)

Here are a few of my favorites!

Beautiful unity candle for both sets of parents!

I love to catch this look from the groom!

First kiss (actually, this might have been the first kiss, second try!)

Yummy cake and cupcakes from Foodland (little plug for them!)

Groom & Bride with their whole gang

Ring shots...my favorite ring shot

Yes, those are workboots...relatively clean workboots, I'd say!

Why not end with this one!?

Wishing you all the best Christa & Jeff and thank-you for having me as a party of your special day!

A fleeting moment...

I just got back from attending a funeral for a man I didn't even know. I knew his wife and some of his family members, so I wanted to go show my support.
As I sat waiting for the service to start, they had the ever present photo slideshow playing which was wonderful to see. Pictures of Paul flipped by from when he was a child, even a photo of him with Santa! A photo of him when he was a proud young man holding a rather large fish with another photo beside it of him present day, holding a similar sized fish flashed on the screen. (One of his favorite hobby, we learned from his children and grandchildren!)
Many photos of him with his beloved second wife, Ruth, his children, step-children, grandchildren and even great grandchildren flashed by! As I watched the slideshow, I was astonished at the number of photos from when he was a child. It is so wonderful to see how his mother (I can only assume) captured his life through the years. Maybe it's just my chosen profession but I am always taken by how the family remembers their lost love one.

Today's event also triggered many memories from exactly a year ago...this day was the day I got the news my Aunt Sue had passed away...WAY too soon before her time.

PLEASE take the time to remember your loved ones...I have many, MANY photos of my children (as a lot of you know!) and I hope they can look back on their childhood and smile.

December Wedded Bliss - Tracy & Marv

It was a chilly day yesterday but it was worth battling the winds...Tracy and Marv chose today as the beginning of their love story. They were married today in a very sweet, family ceremony with their children and Tracy's parents.

These two are so sweet together...The little inside jokes, favorite songs that played, little things people said - they are truly in love!

Here are a few highlights of the day!

Do you? I do!

A true love story NEVER ends! xx

Karen, this is for you! (See the cake?! It's made from cream cheese! You guys are AWESOME!)

Thank you for having me as a part of your day Tracy & Marv and family!
You two are truly blessed with each other! xx

Wishing you all the best on your honeymoon!

Hutchinson Family Session

My last family session for 2015 was finished off with such a wonderful family...I hate to say this, but I used to babysit Stacy when she was likely around 8 years old! (I was 12 when I babysat her and her cute little sisters! So I was really young! wink wink)

Stacy has grown into a beautiful wife and momma! She is so good with her boys! Poor thing is a little outnumbered...even the dog is a boy!  But she is definitely the queen in her family! Colin and the boys and Stacy, along with Gus, were good sports in the cold weather on Sunday! We had a few episodes with not wanting to take photos but I am happy to say we got some great ones!

Cuteness overload! These boys are ADORABLE!

Happy birthday to this little man!

Sometimes you just have to go with the flow!

Oh my goodness! This young man is SO handsome!

I won't tell you what these two are giggling about!  Stacy said to me, she married Colin because he makes her laugh! Wishing you laughter for many years to come, you two!

Gus is BEAUTIFUL! He almost "accidentally" came home with me! (Just kidding...but he is a beauty and listens really well!)
Thank you Hutchinson family for having me to your place to capture your family's memories!
