Family Photos

I've been trolling Facebook this weekend and with people getting together for holidays, family photos are something that usually happen!

Just a little hint for you - I know, not everyone will hire a photographer.  If you don't but want a nice photo, PLEASE use this one little bit of advice. If it is really sunny out, like it was this Thanksgiving weekend, PLEASE shoot in the shade.  You will have nicer photos; there won't be nasty shadows and you won't have squinty eyes!

Overcast days are PERFECTION for photographers!

Momma's Dress

This was a pretty special session...with my "baby" girl who definitely isn't a baby anymore! 

I have been wanting to do this session for awhile but my little beauty is getting taller so I thought the dress would fit a bit better! Even though I had to knot the neck strap, I couldn't believe how well this dress looked on her! Of course, she asked me if she could wear it when she gets married! I told her for sure, if she wanted...it has bits of my mom's dress on it too...so she'd have her something old and borrowed all in one! (No, Mom, I'm not saying you're old! Just your dress!)
We had the wrong headband then I remembered I still had my tiara! 

This was trying to get her to NOT smile! (yes, this is a real problem!)

And of course, her own personal flair!
